Since our inception, our approach has been to meet people where they are and join those who invite us to partner with them on their journey to permanent housing and mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.

As part of our mission, The Imani Center will do the following:

• Empower individuals and communities to determine their destiny and to equip them with the needed skills and resources to achieve success.
• Assist in breaking down barriers that prevent individuals from obtaining permanent housing and mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Assist in the restoration of the family unit and strengthening of communities.
• Give voice to the voiceless.
• Develop the next generation of servant leaders.
• Encourage and support civic engagement.
• Strive for social equity and support activities that promote this possibility.
• Serve as an agent of social change.
